Michelle Yee - National President
Michelle (she/they) is a Canadian born overseas and raised in China. She graduated from Boston University with a dual degree in Advertising and Film & TV, and received their Masters in Producing & Writing in TV. She currently works as a script advisor for Coverfly and dabbles with content creation on the side. While a member of the Beta chapter, Michelle served as President, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Risk Management with the goal of fostering a safe space for young professionals interested in entertainment.

Aaliyah Weathers - National Vice President
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Aaliyah graduated from University of Miami in 2019, double majoring in Journalism and Motion Pictures with a minor in Music Business and Entertainment Industries. Aaliyah became a DeKA as a first semester freshman and eventually went on to serve as president of the Xi chapter. Aaliyah now lives in Los Angeles working in film and television development at Chernin Entertainment. Aaliyah is passionately focused on equity and inclusion and is committed to giving a voice to our members of marginalized communities. In her free time she can be found exploring all genres of music and deepening her astrology practice.

Ian Donovan Hyland - National Treasurer
Born and raised in New York City to a family of starving artists, Ian Donovan Hyland decided to pursue a degree in TV Writing and Production at Chapman University. They joined Zeta Chapter in the second semester of their senior year and have been a proud DeKA ever since. During his tenure as an active, Donovan held the Culture Chair, focusing on building fellowship and strengthening relationships amongst his chapter. After graduating in 2017, he worked in theatre for a few years before moving into Health and Safety for production, and is now managing a 2 stage, tech focused studio in Burbank, California. Through this current job, Donovan’s had the opportunity to work on several occasions with Sundance, G4TV, and even Wizards of the Coast.

Taylor Peterson- Board Member
Taylor (she/her), originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, earned her BFA in Film & Television with a minor in Documentary Production from DePaul University in June 2024. Now based in Los Angeles, she works as a Content Producer for a fashion atelier, where she creates videos and images that highlight the artistry behind custom garments—from concept to completion. The role perfectly blends her passions for fashion and photography, allowing her to bring creativity to every stage of the process. During her time in the Tau Chapter, Taylor held multiple leadership roles, including Production, Scholarship, and Social Media Chair, and later served on the executive board as Treasurer and Vice President. She is passionate about creating inclusive, collaborative environments where individuals can build lasting connections and grow both personally and professionally. Taylor is especially dedicated to supporting and empowering emerging talent in the entertainment industry through mentorship, community, and shared creativity. In her spare time, she enjoys local comedy shows, photo walks, journaling, and relaxing with her cat while watching TV.
Hannah Lau- Board Member
Based in Chicago, Hannah (she/her) grew up in the suburbs of Illinois and graduated from DePaul University with a BFA in Film & Television with a concentration in Post-Production Editing with a double minor in Graphic Design and Motion Graphics in 2022. She joined Tau Chapter in 2018 as a Fall Quarter Freshman and held different positions (Social/Design, Marketing, PR Chair, Vice-President) throughout her four years in DKA. During those pivotal years, she was able to maintain traditions prior to Covid but collaborated to innovate the newer generation of DeKAs. She is currently working as an Assistant Video Producer for the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago which combines her love for art, creativity and filmmaking. If she isn't volunteering with the Cinema/Chicago & Chicago International Film Festival or Chicago Humanities, she is creating content on all different forms of social media and currently shoots film photography and develops black & white film
Manuel Camilion-Board Member
Manuel Camilion is a Miami Filmmaker currently based out of Boston. After graduating from the University of Miami in 2019, Manuel went on to film his first feature film with a few other graduates from the DKA Xi Chapter. Santastein is now streaming on Screambox and available on all major rental platforms. He is currently working on launching his own production company, as well as looking to get his next feature off the ground. His hobbies include exploring new mixed media formats, anything related to sci-fi/fantasy, video games, anime, and above all petting his fluffy husky, Hera.
Daniel Zaitoun- Board Member
Daniel Zaitoun is a recent graduate of George Mason University’s Iota Chapter with a BA in Film/Video Studies and a Minor in Marketing. Daniel has been Iota’s President and Vice President during his time as an active resident, and aspires to take his leadership and experience to the national level. He has worked as a Producer on a multitude of student films and video projects. He currently works as an Office Production Assistant for Carleen Martin LLC where he has assisted on multiple productions nationwide. He aspires to work in Los Angeles with his goal of becoming a producer of feature films and scripted television. He is very excited to join Nationals and continue the work planned ahead for this new chapter of the organization.

Cory Darling - National Events Director
Cory Darling (she/her) is a TV promo editor for Fresh Cut Creative, and has cut National TV commercials for many major studios. She enjoys event planning and building the DKA community. Cory took on the position of National Alumni Chair the summer of 2018, and has since moved onto the National Board, now serving as the National Alumni Director. In her spare time, she can be found re-listening to all of Taylor Swift’s albums (yes, all of them). Cory was part of the Eta Founding Class at UC Berkeley, and graduated in 2014. She then joined the Zeta chapter at Chapman University during her grad program. She graduated in 2017 with a M.F.A. in Film Production with an emphasis in Editing.

Help Wanted - Apply to be a National Board Member
- Term Length: Through July 2026. Eligible to run for an additional 4-year term at Convention in 2026.
- Responsibilities: Monthly virtual check-ins with your 2-3 assigned chapters, providing advice to your 2-3 assigned chapters, assistance with projects focused on the development of Delta Kappa Alpha (such as forming Boards of Governors at the chapter level, updating DKA materials, connecting with entertainment organizations with the goal of providing benefits to our membership, etc.), maintaining awareness of DKA's finances, serving in a Standards Board capacity for disciplinary tribunals, and event planning (Conclave, Convention, smaller events).
- Board Members are NOT responsible for handling order forms, collecting dues, or dealing with insurance/taxes/legal concerns. All elements of the legal and administrative functioning of Delta Kappa Alpha are handled by our Director of Chapter Services (DKA staff).
- Required time commitment consists of 1-hour weekly National Board meetings and your check-in meetings with your chapters (2-3 hours/month). When handling specific projects, emergency situations, or tribunals, more time may be allocated and the amount fluctuates.
- There is occasional travel for chapter initiations, expansion efforts, Good To Great retreats/chapter visits, National Board Retreat, Conclave, Convention, and Executives Academy.
