 Patrick McGovern, CEO
Patrick McGovern began his role as CEO with Delta Kappa Alpha in June 2023 after nearly two decades of executive leadership with Acacia Fraternity's staff — serving as Acacia's Executive Director for the last ten years. He has a proven track record of successfully leading teams and implementing and executing strategic plans to drive organizations' goals. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, operational execution, systems development, brand positioning, board governance, and public relations. Additionally, McGovern has served in numerous leadership roles within the inter-fraternal community, including the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) and the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA). Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs, specializing in Management, from Indiana University. He resides in Noblesville, Indiana, with his wife and two daughters (ages 10 and 8) and enjoys golfing, gardening, landscaping, live concerts, and coaching soccer in his free time.
Kelsey Gomez-Morrissey, Director of Chapter Services
Kelsey obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Indiana University in 2013. Joining her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, helped her decide to pursue a career in college student affairs. She went to the University of West Georgia to achieve her Masters of Education in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in College Student Affairs in 2015. Since graduating with her Masters, Kelsey has worked for three different fraternity/sorority headquarters primarily in the areas of chapter services, education, and conduct. Because of her roles, Kelsey has been able to visit and work with chapters on more than 80 campuses across North America, most of them more than once. Kelsey joined the Delta Kappa Alpha team as Director of Chapter Services in March 2024. Kelsey lives in Westfield, Indiana with her husband, Juan, and her two pups: Barley and Boomer. She loves taking her 10, almost 11 nieces and nephews, on fun adventures around Indianapolis. She enjoys traveling, being out on the lake, and watching Dateline. In her “free time”, Kelsey serves on the Board of Directors as the Assistant Executive Director of Membership Engagement for the Southeastern Greek Leadership Association (SGLA).
